I have a 29 gallon tank with 5 Pictus cats. I was wondering what other kind of fish I could get? I was looking for something with a lot of color or maybe some angel fish.

I've found the pictus to be a nice community fish. It should get along well with any other community fish.
One note on the angels, they generally don't like active nocturnal fish, which the pictus is.
If it was me, I would put in 5-6 black phantom tetras or other tetra.

Pictus get kind of biggish so I would choose something in scale. How about a school of tiger barbs. As long as they are in a school they are generally peaceful to other tank mates.
But if you are looking for something bigger try a gourami.
