well i am just about ready to restock my tank and i was looking for some input!
i have a 65 gallon tank with live plants
5 fruit tetras
1 ruby clown
2 cories
2 frogs
1 sucker + some snails

i would like to get
3 cories
1 angle
1 red tail shark
1 bella shark
2 clown loaches

What do you all think of the mix?

1 red tail shark
1 bella shark

Na, i doubt these will get on, very unlikely.

I say a few more clown loaches and more cories

Angels generally do best in pairs. Clown Loaches (which can grow up to a foot long!!!) need to be in groups of at least five so you can really see their true nature. Balas too (another one that gets HUGE) need to be in schools. I am not sure what a ruby clown is...?? But also it would be cool if you upped that school of tetras to make the number around 15, neat schooling fish when there are more than ten. Beautiful to watch. I would ditch the clowns and go for dojo (weather loaches) they are unique and have lots of personality. Skunk botia are also very entertaining guys. RTS get huge and very aggressive, I dont recomend for this size tank. Intead I would get about 8 more cories, more fruit tetras, and perhaps a pair of angels? Just a couple suggestions...
good luck.

I agree a Bala and RTBS wouldn't be fast friends. More importantly, the Bala isn't suited for a 65g. At full maturity, they grow to be well over a foot long. Most people don't recommend that they be kept in a tank under 150 gallons. Balas really like to swim as well, so at a foot long, anything below 5 feet long really inhibits their behaviour.

your loaches will do better in a pack of 5-7 at least. they and the corys get along well.
if you really like the angel, i would have at least 3.
the loaches like lots of hiding places, caves, etc.

thanks for the imput! :)
About the bella sharks when i had two they always faught Why?
I was told by our local fish guy who is real nice that the clown loaches do get to a foot long but they are slow growing and it is very rare for them to get this size!

And the cories, i do love them they are nice to watch but i was thinking that because i want to get two clown loaches to have more then five would create a space problem ..they all like the bottom of the tank? What do you feel?

I would say that it could be rare that they grow to muturity because many people stunt their growth unknowingly due to information coming from the misleading LFSs.

That was bitter. I'm sorry to have a bad attitude, but it is hard not to about this type of thing. When I'm at the LFS, I hear information given to customers (right there in front of me) that will harm and kill their fish. This happens every time I go in for some random supply, nearly without fail.

I'm not sure about your response! What was your point please?
Clown loaches good or clown loaches bad?

I disagree about the angels in larger numbers, my angels fight, fight and fight, they are stressful and have never got along...
