I'm looking for a good way to feed cherry shrimp. I've been feeding them shrimp pellets and adding one pellet. Then I noticed they'd fight over it and a bigger shrimp would actually "shove" the smaller shrimp away. Then I tried feeding flake and added several flakes. Same type of thing happened. Is there a better way to feed these guys? I don't want any of them to wind up getting injured or anything like that.

I hate to top, but I still don't have any answers to my question. Also, if I added guppies to the tank, would they eat the shrimp or the baby shrimp?

Please, feel free to "top" :)

your shrimp should be fine "rough housing" for food. The bigger one will get full, drop the food (if its a pellet), then the smaller one can eat. Thats prety close to what happens with my Amano shrimp.

As far as the guppies with them, Im positive the adult shrimp would be okay because they would be to big to eaten by a guppy. Im not sure about the baby shrimp, they have to be tiny to come from such a small shrimp. Hope that helps

You can do what i do with african dwarf frogs, which is to use a baby bird feeding syringe to basically drop thawed frozen food (brine shrimp and bloodworms mostly) right in front of them.
