Google Map Captures UFO

it would be cool if aliens did contact us though!

Not as cool as you might think. Even tho I am a proponent of ETs, the proof of intelligent life existing elsewhere in this galaxy would send quite a few religions and more than one government administration into a tailspin. Wait until they find plain simple bacterial life on Mars, you're going to see a dust-up the likes of which has never before been experienced by humans. Worldwide indisputable evidence of a civilization even only 500 years more advanced than ours would have every government clamoring for the travel technology and every Christian leader plotting a way to convert the alien heathens.

Having said that, I'm ready for the ETs to show up. I, for one, welcome our alien overlords.

Joe last time I looked your posts count was at 3999, and you have posted since then, why has it not gone up?
..just sent you a messege....

Okay, I can't stand it anymore. ;) As far as the satellite images go I'm interested to find out what they really are. They could be balloons, I also wonder if that could be what a helicopter looks like from the top (I know, it'd probably have a "tail") On the other hand the paintings are definately not of UFO. First of all you'd need to read the Bible to understand some of the illustrations. For example, in 2Kings 2:11 a fiery chariot appeared and in a whirlwind carried Elijah up to heaven. The "ufo" in the picture with the Madonna appears to me to be an attempt to portray God as rays of light coming out of a cloud. The painting where God and Jesus are on either side of the earth shows them holding paintbrushes(not sputnik antennae) to create the world with. Remember in rennaissance times religious rich men hired non-religious men to do religious paintings. An artist in those times would have seen a circle as a perfect representation of perfection or God. If you account for perspective it comes out an oval. This would explain why in all the paintings, and on the coin, it looks like an oval cloud or opening in the sky with a ray or multiple rays of light coming down. Also, comets used to be assigned extreme significance. When seen in the sky in those times people thought either terrible disasters or wonderful miracles were coming. Any good history class in combination with art history can fill you in on these points. Sorry for the long post. :p: Oh boy! :troll:

First, I don't get the " :troll: " part.

About the bible, yes I have read it. I don't exactly recall parts.... Kings 2:11 etc.

About circles being a representation of God -- I never heard of this. Wow.. So, what you are saying is the first flying saucers were from these paintings? Do you think there are UFO's?

No one will know for sure what happened back then, but there can be a connection with ufo's even before biblical times as in the NASCA plains.

I agree entirely- an art history class will tell you more about those paintings than whatever flake built that web site. It's not that I disbelieve there is life on other planets, like someone else pointed out the odds are overwhelming that there is, but with any one of those pictures it's just people seeing what they want to see. I guess it all depends on your perspective on occam's razor.

Joe, all I meant was that you won't convince me that any of those paintings are paintings of UFO's. I'm not saying UFO's couldn't exist. I don't know where the first thought of a UFO originated from. And I have seen other viable "earthly" explanations for the NASCA designs. They may point to water sources (important in the desert), and it is possible to see them from a hot air balloon which could have been achieved with the available resources to the natives and with their own technology. A simple google search can find you all these answers as well as the UFO theories. I'm not trying to convince you that UfO's don't exist, rather I'm suggesting you may want to look at some other explanations before jumping to that one. After all, I can accept it that "A man convinced against his will is a man of his own opinion still." ;)

I am interested in other explainations... TB continued...

I don't want to convince anyone that the fact UFO's exist. Be real, look at the evidence.....
Most people know UFO's are an unexplained entity. (..at least most know..).

Most people wil not "talk about it"..... For the fear of bieng "mental" ..etc..
