Gorgorians?

Anybody have experience with these? I think they are also called sea fans. Now that I have good flow (MP40w) I want to get one. I have PC lights...coralife 265 fixture. Will it do? Are they finicky?

Not all Gorgonians are photosynthetic, so if you choose to get one, you may want to be sure the type you're buying is. Otherwise, it will require frequent feedings to survive. Even the photosynthetic Gorgonians will benefit from regular feedings.

Thanks. Are they difficult to keep though? Have you had any experiences with them?

I've never kept one myself. I have a two reefkeeping friends that have tried to keep them, but neither was able to keep them alive for more than a couple months. I couldn't say exactly why they had problems, but I know neither made a strong effort to feed the ones they had regularly.
