Got myself a bargain yesterday - L168

So I've been working all weekend, got back very tired and emotional so went to my LFS for a cheer up - well by the end of it I was jumping around like a madman.

I found an L168. He wasn't labled and the LFS had no idea what he was or how much i should pay! offered them £20 and they took it! Commons over here cost £15 so i think i got a good deal

I have no info on them, but I did want to say it sure does look like a nice find! Very pretty and cool find. Does it change color a lot like to profile says?

huh. one of the pics in the link, the one with the fish in a vertical position with a red tag on its fin? someone on ebay was selling a zebra plec a while ago and used that picture in the page for it. i wonder if they just used the pic and didn't know any better because it does resemble a zebra, or were actually selling L168's. . . .

Puma - yes quite simply! he's currently a very nice dark blue/grey with yellow underneath coming through. When he was in his bag he was well stressed and had gone completely white, his colour returned whilst he was in the bag and as soon as he was on my gravel (natural colour) he changed colour again! wataugachicken - I have seen these once before i found this one (when i first got my 30g and it was uncycled!) and it was lanled as L316 (Rio Jari Zebra) - I have one of those and it is a completely different Plec. It seems with Zebras unscrupulous individuals will go to any lengths to get that extra £50 / $90 on the price tag.

Didn't that pleco used to be L052? I could have sworn the Butterfly was L052. Anyway, cool find, about a year ago they went for around 20 bucks here in CO. Haven't looked since then so don't know what they are at now. Hope this helps and nice find!

Well, according to PC it's slightly different due to the under colour being more yellow than in L052.

I could be mistaken on my id of which i have due to reflection of natural gravel etc but am pretty sure it's L168. I'll try and borrow a decent digi camera and post a pic of the beasty
