I 'm feeling lucky lately. Well assuming the goods pan out.
I was coming back from the dentist with my mom and we stopped at a thrift store...I find a tank, measure it and it's a standard thirty for $20 containing what looks like a whisper 3-5 power filter.

Not having any money with me and the huge complications of having a parent along, I ask them to put it on hold so I can hopefully drive back into tomorrow morning. It's a half hour away so hopefully the roads won't be slippery like today.
Between the potential free tank and the twenty at the other thrift store, I guess I'm ending my tank hunting after this.

I could really use that thirty gal cabinet that someone was going to give me ( seems to have fallen through ), but I guess I can't complain much about something I was getting for free.

I have my mice in a standard thirty and it won't fit on the bottom rack of my metal stand because of the mesh top and my planted thirty has to be on the top rack for my plants to get the light.

I have a wrought-iron 30gal stand (standard 3'x1') for sale...but you could probably find one closer.

Thanks...but yeah CT to VT...that's a few hours I think.

Yeah, depends on where in the state. I can get to Brattleboro in under 2 hrs going up 91.

I'm on the other side in Bennington. It's a little over an hour drive from here to Brattleboro.
