Got Rams....Now what

they are doing better, I've fed some blood worms, but what do they normally eat?

I also have 2 of these, they eat flakes, ciclid pellets ( small ) and mine love frozen brine shrimp.
they are pretty peaceful. I have 2 and a firemouth, and 2 angels in my 29 gallon tank.

They look exactly like mine. They are German Blue Rams. The one with the pink belly and taller dorsal is the girl.

They're definitely GBRs, but I have to disagree that they are the gold morph. They are just stressed and will color up eventually. You can tell by the black stripes and the large black spot on the fishes' sides- the gold rams lack these markings entirely. Your tank sounds perfect for them, as they prefer a low pH and warm temps. They also appreciate lots of plant cover. GBRs make fine tankmates for angels, though they may have to compromise on the high temp I suppose.

hakunamakarla- you have Bolivian rams, one of my favorite FW fish. Not as colorful as GBRs, but they grow larger and are generally easier to keep.

Just wanted to say i wish someone would leave rams on my door step...and i would love to have the fry....i have a 75gal with about 12 rams in it and i want to add more...so if anyone has some for sell or give away think of me ..pm me thanks Karen.

I just had a batch of Bolivians by surprise... Moving them tonight.

Where in NC are you? I'm in Charlotte area, South East side.

Well, their color is coming back, but are hiding from one another through my driftwood...Kinda silly

red-eyes mean they are either German Blue Rams or Gold Rams... The debate isn't bolivian vs. blue, it's gold vs. blue guys.
