Got some Amano Shrimp. Now what?

so brought back the 2 penguin tetras and the 2 cherry barbs yesterday which freed up some room in my tank, so i bought 2 amanos today. they are very active and look healthy. i am wondering if the other 2 that i bought at my LFS had been there a long time and were maybe older. they are both gone now, one within the first day and now i can't find the other one (believe me i looked when i was trying to catch those crazy penguin tetras).
so now my tank is as follows:
3 platies
1 guppy
around 7 guppy fry
1 mystery snail
1 ghost shrimp
2 amano shrimp

if i can keep 2-3 of the guppy fry in the end i will be where i want to be as far as stocking goes.

Amanos often die within the first couple days of being introduced to the tank, they have a tough time acclimating, sorry :/.

I often find mine in the strangest places. They will cling, upsidedown, to plants just cleaning their little claws off. You may yet find the ones that are MIA. I, however, did loose 3 out of 8 that I purchased. All of them within the first 2 days.

well when i took the penguin tetras and the cherry barbs back the other day i had to take both my plants out to catch the little guys (man they are sneaky) and i still didn't see any sign of the two missing shrimps. oh well, not much i can do really but try my best.
