Killie Eggs
Are these your own killifish eggs or did you purchase them? The eggs will usually take about 12 to 14 days to hatch depending on temp, from the point that they were laid. I have a breeding pair of gardneri killie's and do not use a heater, they are kept at room temp. Right before the eggs will hatch you will see two black dots, these are the eyes, and they should hatch within a day or two from then. When I pull the eggs from the mop I place them in a seperate hatching jar with an air stone and treat the eggs with an anti fungal agent but normally do not use a heater, they may hatch quicker with the heat mat, just make sure it doesn't get to warm. While live baby brine shrimp is not necessary, I find that they grow quicker if fed this three times a day for the first three weeks. I have also fed the first bites by Hikari and finely crushed flake and they will do ok on this also. Hope this helps.
