Gourami tank mates ???

Hi Folks , what would be some good tank mate for my 2 gourami,s in a 55g tank. I,d like to put some differant kinds of fish in with them any suggestions would be a big help,I,d like to have a nice range of colour and size THANX,Dave E

what sort of gouramis? platies seem to go fine with most gouramis, as do lots of rainbow fish

Go for some Cardinal tetras theyer nice

You'll see your goutamies stay almost always at surface lavel, so you might consder both mid-level swimmers and bottom dwellers. Corycats are perfect for gouramies, and perhaps some cardinal or neon tetras to give a little color to the tank.

this kind of setup i'm suggesting will be better if you can add some tall plants (living or fake) to the tank.
