gourami w/ cherry barbs and danios?

There is a stargate in my aquarium.
I've had zebra danios and Dwarf Gouramis in the same tank before, and they got along fine. Make sure the danios have enough to form a school (7+) and they'll be too busy chasing each other to bother the gouramis.

It should be Ok. Get enough fish for a good group of barbs or danios and it should be ok. Cherry barbs are not a nippy barb.

They shouldn't. Just as a side note, please be careful with dwarf gouramis. I keep receiving comments they are harder to keep alive than before and I have not had much success either. Honey gouramis are your alternatives.
Make sure the barbs and danios are in groups or 6 or more since they're schooling fish even if you decide not to get a dwarf gourami.
I'm glad you said that, I thought it was just me not being able to keep them alive for very long. I never had that problem until the past year or so.

I keep 2m/4f cherry barbs with my honey gourami and they are fine...in fact I love them. They are very active and engaged with each other and don't bother anything but my java moss.

I was stating the general.
I've noticed several forums with similar experiences about this fish. Only luck can allow you to keep them alive for long I guess.:thud:
