I got some grape calupera from my LFS to put in my HOB refugium. I thought that I would grow it in the fuge, trim it periodically and put some of it int he tank so my fish could it especially my tang.

Trouble is, nothing in my tank will eat it. Not my tang, emerald crabs, hermit crabs, snails, conch, urchin, shrimp or any.

The do all go crazy over the nori sheets and algae flakes I add. I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the grape calupera.

Nothing in my tank ate the devil weed either. It got loose in my display tank and overtook everything. It choked all my corals and was the reason I took a long break from the hobby. I had a lot of nutrients in those days, though.
Devil weed, I tell ya.

Cheato is the way to go. Grows in a large ball and IMO stays put. Also acts as a nice sediment filter and nutrient exporter if you harvest regularly.
