You can move the rocks and the decorations around if you want to. I would suggest doing it this way at least once a month. The rest of the time, vaccuuming around everything will be more then sufficient.
We use the python once a month to do a good gravel vac and 1/3 water change. Every third month we lift out the cave and rock to vac underneath. Hubby is on the faucet end while I do the vac. We have it down to about 30 min. to clean and re-fill the 30g and son's 10g. All params are great...and the fish don't get so stressed.
We spend ALOT of time watching the fish......and VERY LITTLE time on maintenance!
