gravel vac sucks....

How big of diameter on that thing? looks a lot smaller then the hose on my python and my older vac. But then again pictures can be deceiving.

make sure there isn't any plant leaves or snails in the valve, and the bulb (i personally would remove the bulb altogether). And make sure to keep the hose kink-free and no loops and twist when vac-ing.
 
ok i removed the bulb and what did i find? looks like a snail or 20 got sucked up and had more snails in the bulb. i knew they birthed out of water but i didnt even notice one have been sucked up. all dead though what a shame oscar could have had a feast. will look into a python would make everything so much easier. thanks didnt even think about something getting past the gravel guard.
