Gravel vacuum question

Aquafina bottle would work well too.

However, I agree with Sweetness8t5. You'll spend $3-5 in supplies (if not more) from Lowes, Home Depot, etc... and have some fugly looking thing next to your great looking aquuarium. Or spend $6-8 for a professionally looking one.

ya..... wow..... I wish my python cost me $6 ..... was more like $80 for the 50' version.

Mine was under $45 with a 20ft extension for a total of 45ft when I brought the on-line prices with me to petsmart.

I could have used a regular garden hose for the extension though.

I prefer to use the old school gravel cleaner with a 3-gallon bucket. Not only does it use less water, I can more easily control my chlorine-remover, temperature of the water, stress on the fish...and the best part, my fat a** gets a bit of exercise. Sometimes easier does not = better.

We sure pay more for supplies up here in Canada than you do in the States. Geez, they want somewhere around $40.00 for a Mag-Float glass cleaner.
:jaw: $6.95 will get you a small sized (for like 5 gallon tanks and smaller) one by me. the prices dosent go up that fast if you want a bigger one either.
