hi. is there any types of gravel colors that are really good for like showing the fishes colors better. i was reading in an artical about aquarium gravel saying that black is a good color because it makes the fishes colors stand out better.
 
Depends on what color fish you have. I prefer natural colors, personally--but basically, anything that will contrast with the fish will emphasize their coloration. Black is probably the most natural choice for maximum contrast with brightly colored fish.

I agree. You can also mix and match different colors too. Maybe add a handful of white or red to the black just to add color.

Personally I like a more natural look (a walnut color of natural gravel).
