I just got back from the Milwaukee area fish swap meet... I sold $55. worth of Bolivian and Blue ram juvies!! Unfortunately/Fortunately, I spent $90 on a 50g long tank and stand, and double 10 stand, 2 pcs driftwood, flake food and - yippee- 4 very pretty Apistogramma Borelli!!! - I set up a special 10 for them...

Hubby and I spent the weekend figuring out how to make a fishroom and excersise room for me out of a 11 X 14 foot room in the basement. (Oh, it will also have a couch and tv...and 2 workout machines).

Last time I wrote in to the forum I had 8 tanks, now I have 9! (MTS, why fight it?!)

I had to look that Borellii up, and I have to say they look very nice. Congrats :)!.

One day, I'd like to try my luck with some dwarf cichlid, too. When I have more space ;). An apartment is a good shield against MTS - at least somewhat :D.

Wow, small world! I live in the Milwaukee area, but wasnt able to get to the swap meet (mainly because I didnt know anything about it). Do they have these often? Is there a site that I can look at in order find out when and where the next one will be?

lol! congrats! Strangly, i seem to be able to fight MTS... (dang i forgot what mts stood for >_>)

multiple tank syndrome.

well, if you think about it, you got a $55 discount. hmm, this fish swap meet got me thinking about breeding and selling fish.. not sure if they have those in NYC..

Congrats on the fish & tanks, Cathy. I'd like some apistos but am trying to resist mts. I have an exer-bike by 1 tank but moved equipment to make room for another tank. LOL, I pretend water changes are just as good as weights.
