How can i reduce the green cloudy water from my tank? i leave the light 24/7 and it sucks because i have a 90 gal. and i just did a general cleaning. im wasting too much water. how can i control the algae? thanks in advance!!!

The light being on 24/7 is contributing to the problem. Why don't you turn it off?

First off shut that light off. and shut it off for an hour or thirty mintues during midday. that will stop the reproductive rythm of algea, witch reproduces exponentialy. 50% water changes every 4 days or so.... raise temperature as high as your fish will tolerate. (most tropical fish like water between 76-82.... so put it at 82) this will increase the metabolism of your fish and weaken the metabolism of the algea.

if you're worried about wasting water maybe you should look into different hobbies. keeping fish requires that you change their water at least weekly, and a bigger tank = more water down the drain.
