what kind of fish eat the green algae that grows on flat surfaces in a planted 29g, with false SAEs, hillstream loach, danios, black kuhlis, and pair of kribs? will a clown pleco work?

i find this question funny because it's like the most common kind of algae.... yet i know what eats all the other kinds of algae! this should be in the newbie forum, huh?

Amano shrimp, MTS,

shrimp, Malaysian trumpet snails,, even rosy barbs if it is long enough or you scrape it off and let it drop.

how about otocinclus catfish? they do a great job on algae, except beard algae (long filamentous algae)

I prefer them to plecos or any of the algae eater varieties as they stay small and are ALWAYS working on my algae for me.
