Green attack!!! Help

yeah that does sound like my water pea soup! maybe i do feed them too much. I have an Aquaclear 150 and aquaclear mini to help it out. I have not had the lights on today at all i will be reducing light levels alot! but still enough for my plants to live.

Many people will do a blackout for three days. This means turning off all the lights and covering the tank with a black trash bag. Your plants will be fine (prolly close up a little) and the green water should be gone. This however, does not stop the problem of excess nutrients - just clears things up so you can see.

Or, just keep the lights on for very few hours a day.
