Green cabomba and seachem excel

In my other thread seachem excel melts green cabomba plant, has anyone here had a success growing cabomba plant and seachem excel?

I like cabomba better than bacopa. I use Excel. There's a reason why I don't have any cabomba. :uhoh:
 
If you start out with a lower dose of excel, like a 1/4 of what is recommended, then slowly build up the dose, you may be able to use it. But, it will take awhile. And it may never work.
 
I didn't realize that I could increase from a low Excel dosage at first, and by the time I figured out what the problem was, I basically said "f it" because I like the bacopa well enough, and it does pretty much the same thing.
 
I use to grow lots of Cabomba, but never with Excel.
 
I have not used excel in quite awhile, but when I did, I tried the lower dose with Vals, and increased it over time. I eventually had Vals that grew wonderfully with a full dose of excel. JME.

Similar experience on my end with Vals but never tried Cabomba (don't really like it so I don't grow it).

Start with a "quarter dose" and see it you can acclimate it - it may or may not work. You at least have to try it and see.
