Some of the snails I have are a weird green color. They're just regular old MTS and ramshorns, nothing spiffy, but, in the one tank I've been noticing a green color to some of my snails. It's almost as if their bodies are green (but their feet aren't). This is my planted tank, but I honestly don't think they've been snacking on plants, they're usually on the ground and occasionally on the glass, but rarely if ever on my plants.

No, this is something going on inside of the shells. :/ They all seem to be healthy, but some of the rams have really thin shells. They don't ALL have it, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Well, I couldn't get a shot in the tank, because the black gravel made everything too dark. The pic doesn't really show the green in the snail though. Like I said, it's like the snails' bodies inside the shell are green, but the shell is normal, and the foot is normal. I'll keep trying for better pics that actually show it. But, that pic above is one of the ones, and as you can see, it's a normal snail otherwise...

There. Excuse the snaily poop-turds in there. Tomorrow is maintanence day. Anyways, you can see the green tinge to the snail. It looks almost like the shells are stuffed with peas, but, to be 100% honest, they haven't had any peas or fresh greens, just processed foods (not green). I am well aware that they need a major overhaul with their diets... But, what's with the green? Some of the MTS are like this, and some of the Rams, so I can't imagine that it's any new rare genetic modification, but there are plenty of snails in there that don't have this greenish to them, so I'm not sure if it's environmental either...

If you look there, it's a peagreen coloration (inside the shell, like the body of the snail). There are only a few in the tank with this, and I've never seen it before. They all have a darker coloration there or it's the same color/shade as the rest of the shell. It's like the body of the snail is the color of a pea instead of normal color. I just don't want it to be some type of disease or something that's going to harm them, my spixis are in that tank as well...
