Green spot aglea on plants, how to remove?

A mild solution of H3PO4 works much better than bleach, this can be done in the tank also, the PO4 will help also.

GSA does not grow well if you have good high CO2 and also high PO4.
GSDA is common in tanks with good water quality(low CO2 and low PO4) in fish only tanks, a sign of a well run stable tank, but in FW planted tanks, the opposite is true, things are too lean.

The Kent Pro scrpaers are the best thing for removal on glass.
I do doubt that Excel overdosing will do much unless you use it like a dip.

don't use bleach in the aquarium if there are fish in it! plants are usually OK but some bleach got into one of my tanks a while back and all the goldfish went belly up!
