humans dont reproduce with different species of human..races..are not different species...we're all homo sapien

cows, dogs, cats, chickens, horses, and other domesticated animlas are not hybrids. they are the SAME species. all dogs are the same species. a bichon frize is the same species as a great dane. a shynx is the same species as a simese. a clydsdale is the same species as a quarter horse. they are all variations. humans are not hybrids either. we are all the SAME species, and you can go ahead and argue it, but its not going to change for a long time.

back on topic, if your fish hybridize, then keep like 2 or 3 like you were going to and then use the rest as feeders for your other fish. it would be so cool to have a fish that nobody around you has.

my female jag and male dempsey seem to be courting eachother..she even cleaned out a spot behind some rocks..man..it'd be awesome to see some dempsey x jag hybrids..even though im not crazy about hybridation..lol

I should have just said this is the way humans can be hybrids or by breeding with monkeys. That’s the difference. So I am against doing this. If it happens I see no problems in keeping a few.

For the hobbies sake I would really hate to see a bloodline polluted.
Anyone reading this. Please don’t breed hybrid babies or let them get into the public.
Flowerhorns and Bloodparets are okay because everyone knows what they are at this point. It’s almost like a different species.

I am really against Red Texas Cichlids. Someone who doesn’t know they are hybrids could breed one of these with a true TX Cichlid. Introduce the babies to a pet shop and pollute the bloodline.

I was thinking about my last post and example of the hybrid in present day life is.
Alien DNA mixed with a monkey. We now have Bigfoot and it’s a problem. Back in the 1970s I saw Bigfoot beat up the 6 Million Dollar Man. It wasn’t pretty. I was worried about Steve Osten till he pulled Bigfoot’s arm off.

I realize this thread is old but will respond anyways. Yes its possible for them to breed but no its not possible for them to have viable fry. South American Cichlids can't successfully hybridize outside their genus except for Festae. All Central American Cichlids can however.

I believe there is one case of Green Terror hybridize with CA. GT, similar to Fastae, is from the Pacific side of Equador and Peru, so it is geographically closer to CA than typical SA from Amazon Basin.

I hate purists preach the ethic of hybridization. There is nothig unethical to generate and keep hybrids. It's only unethical to sell hybrid as pure breed, no difference from knowlingly selling species with wrong name.

Purists wlll consider mixing geographic race hybrid, even though they are of the same species. Accordingly, mixed race human are hybrid.
