Green Terror, Blood Parrot, Jack Dempsey

I have had all three in the same tank before.

The female parrott and the male JD were paired up and always hung out together in their little ship. The GT (dont know the sex) was basically the ruler of the tank. But anytime the JD came out of the ship for food or whatever the GT always backed off.

My JD is also very shy and never comes out of his ship unless all the lights are off and its dark or there is food.

Also, i got the GT about 7 months after the JD and Parrott. They never fought once. The GT grew very quickly and was about the size of the JD in about 5 monhs. Still none of them ever fought and they were ok.

 Never had blood parrot or green terror but my jack dempsey fought w/ everybody. Great fish!! Sorry I had to sell him but it was for the best.

So far, my Blood Parrot is still in charge, but I'm sure that will change within a few months after the others catch up with him. I have some pictures that are about 200K, but the site won't let me upload anything larger than like 69K. Any easy ideas on how to post a pic? Thanks

Also I would kill for an EBJD right now but I don't have the space.

Hey Rosswake, you say your blood parrot is in charge, I thought these fish were very timid and non-agressive. Is your agressive or is just in charge because of his size?

he's timid when people are in the room -really likes to hide in his cave-, but as far as the other fish in the tank are concerned, he does not bully them or anythign but doesn't let them in his cave either. When they go in, he pushes them out with his forehead. Nothing dangerous for them, but they get the message. ; )
