To unconfuse I will state...

UMMM,YEAH,UMM OK,that has nothing to do with green terrors, lol

Your fish is a "Gold Saum" a.k.a. False Green Terror. The true Green Terror Aequidens rivulatus has a white/silver trim to the dorsal and caudal fin, except during breeding season when the male develops a red trim to those fins. There is an excellent article on Aequidens rivulatus in the July, 1975 issue of Tropical Fish Hobbyist (Yes, I've been in the hobby a loooong time. ;)). Good luck with it.

Thanks,I knew that(check out my first post on this thread),I just have a hard time remembering the name of the true green terror.I think that for whatever reason people started calling gold, and from I understand, silver saums, both green terrors, and has caused a lot of cunfussion with a lot of people. And the fact that Aequidens rivlauts are not imported very often anymore,no one really knows what the true green terror looks like. Thanks for the clarification with the actuall name.Maybe I can remember it now! :) Whatever people want to call
mine,I think it is a very striking fish, and it is mean as hell!

You are most welcome. But to make the waters murkier still, I truly believe that it will eventually be determined that all three are just different races (subspecies) of A. rivulatus.
