hi, I've had my green terror for about 4 months and just added a gold severum & a green severum to the tank last week. Lights on this morning I noticed a tan looking substance on top of a container cover inside the tank. My first thought was that I was overfeeding but a closer inspection revealed eggs. I didn't know the sexes until this morning now that I see the green terror constantly hovering over the container. She charges at me if I get too close to the side of the tank (like I'm going to touch her eggs.....not)
I'm assuming the parents are the green terror being the mom and the gold severum the dad IF they eggs were fertilized. The green severum is half the size of the gold and it hides most of the time. Also in the tank is a large pleco, about 8" long. It's a 46 gallon bow tank, temporary home.
Has this ever happened to anyone of you?
