I just walked over to his office and offered him 125 for the entire set up including the fish. He said okay, so I'll pick it up after work. I really don't need another 55gal, so I guess I'll re-sale it on craig's or something. I have an 60gal running that I'll put him in by himself. I may try putting him into that 180 with the TFB's and my green terror. I can always move him out if it doesn't work.

That's a Texas cichlid and a pretty one at that. I have one and he's gone from being a purchase I regretted in early 2007, to being one of my favorite fish. They're a bit aggressive, but mine lives comfortably in a 125 with five other cichlids. I also have a Carpinti, or Green Texas cichlid. Their spots are a little larger than that.
What others are in the tank with him? I'm thinking of trying him in our 180 with my GT and TFB's and a large pleco.
I have him in there with a Jack Dempsey, Green Terror, Salvini and the Carpinti. The tank also has a rainbow shark, common pleco, marble sailfin pleco and a catfish that I forget the name of at the moment.
I saw your pic on the other thread, very nice! I'm still debating my cichlid set up. Right now the only cichlids I have are my GT and the Texas.
