I ordered a green tiger lotus online. Well what I got was a stem with some roots. I went on and planted it. Ive seen a few plants in bad shape do fine. Think this one will survive? Tim

aren't lotus' in the waterlily family? I believe that they have a bulb or storage swelling at the base of the plant and given time should be back to its glorious self
Well I will never know how this plant would of turned out. My guppies ate it. Nothing left not even roots. I had no idea they would do this. Ive seen them eat algea off some plants, but they have never ate a whole plant. Go figure. I was really excited about this plant too.
