Green water early battle

lol nice way to actually profit.

Just an update: Put the tank and stand on craiglist for $100, sold within 8 hours.

Now all I have to do is sell the aqualight for $100 and my pressurized system was free.

On that note, anybody want to buy an aqualight for $100?

mmmm delicious

lol nice only if nintendo wii were still rare.. I couldve bought some again and sold em for double = free co2 system :lipssealedsmilie: Idk will see how things go, if anything maybe will sell some stuff and get a regulator and as far as tank.. maybe my pop will let me trade in his acetylene tank for a co2 tank. hows your green water so far?? setup the system yet? any change?

I did consider a UV but at the moment just trying to fix things up with $0.00 spendings..

Set up the pressurized co2 yesterday morning. As of last night looked 100 times better. At that point, still a little cloudy, we'll see today when I get home.

Wow, that is bad....mine was nothing like that. I'd say you're way passed the "begining stages".

I'd say invest in a pressuried system before getting a UV sterilzer. You'll appreciate the pressurized in the long run, whereas a UV you barely need anyway.

lol that aint my tank lol my tank is like 25% of that

You just need more Daphnia; they convert Green Water into Fish Flesh! :D

I don't know if adding daphs will keep your green to acceptable levels, but hey, it can't hurt!
