Green Water...What to do?

Actually, I made a boo-boo. I should have said adult brine. They feed of the stuff. Keeps them nice and healthy and loaded with beta carotene etc.

BTW my tank is a 29gallon (30x18x12) Is 11 mumba (sp?) to many for that tank?

Way too many. To be honest, it's too small for Mbuna anyway, because they are extremely territorial and in that size tank they will end up killing each other.

If I take a pic of the fish can you tell what kind they are? Most where given to me by a friend who had to get rid of them, i want to make sure they are what he says. They have been living toghether for about 8-9 months and all doing fine.

Using the water polishing/micro-filament cartridges cleaned green water completely out of my 55 in about 3 hours, and not only that, it never came back. I think the media is tight enough it actually physically removes the spores, thus preventing the algae from reproducing any more.

Don't know if it helps. :)
