Grins' 55g Reef

Sorry to hear about the star and hammer etc -I didn't realise, I only picked up on Scampi not making it.

I only ask about your Pagoda because it looks the same as mine. I've just adjusted my Koralias and my Pagoda is now getting quite a bit of current on it and the polyps have doubled on it!!!!

When the polyps are fully open on mine you can't see the bright green base but in one small section. It loves the flow, just not any bubbles.

catpicklesdog, i love your sun coral and coco, i cant wait to get my tank up and running enuf to get corals, how long do i have to wait?
Thanks,
Shane

Well guess who are uber interested in the rbta today? And guess who is not liking all the company outside the main entrance to his cave. He hasn't been aggressive towards them but has been claiming squatting rights by getting between them and the anemone. So far it is a bit comical. Frankly I had been glad they were ignoring it past the initial investigation but that apparantly wasn't meant to last:

Oh and a macro'ish shot of the rbta:

Love the pictures Grins. I love the different personalities of fish. I basically look at them like little people.

Thanks Mandy, they really do seem to have personalities at times huh? Certainly temperments.

CPD, I didn't expect to love it as much myself. It is funny to watch it eat, it wraps it's tentacles around the piece of silverside as if it is hugging it at first. "food food, yum yum, she gave me food".

My fish are such piggies they'd probably steal food from it rather than feed it. My pearl bubble used to get grump over Scampi the shrimp stealing it's brine. I should take a photo of the pearl eating. It has two mouths and while the one streches as wide as it can to fit the food in (so much so it can't close it's mouth at times) the other mouth will puff up and over the other trying to steal food from it. Freaky to watch.
