Gro-Wel Dynaflo

Hi

I recently picked up a new Dyna-Flo filter from Ebay. It is a Model G425 and is made by Gro-Wel. I thought Metaframe invented the Dyna Flo? Does anyone know who Gro-Wel was and did they invent the Dyna Flo?

The unit is in great shape however the box is deteriorating. I estimate this is from the early 60's.

Sorry cant help you with who invented them. That looks like an air driven one, I was thinking of the Dyna Flo Power Filter and not sure who invented them either. Just looked closer and it is motor driven but I have never seen one like that one, the one I remember was like the wihsper filters

That thing looks like an early version of the Supreme Aqua King filters

Gro-Wel is a division of Aquariums incorporated in New Jersey. The Company must have been bought by Metaframe which was later sold to Mattel. I think that I might have the origianal Dyna Flo in mint condition!!!!
