I need help growing algae,i had a plastic clear bucket and a rock for 2 days in total sunlight,but nothing???what have i done wrong???

Place a pinch of fishfood in the bucket. Does the bucket have water? There should be water in it. If I were you, get more rocks and place them inside the bucket so you can keep a constant supply of green algae.
will flake food work???thanks and bettas and endlers are my passion!how long does it take to get some results???

Flakes should work, never mind how much you put in it but the whole thing will be smelly from ammonia soon enough.:lipssealedsmilie: 3-4 days should do it.
