Growing dwarf baby tears (Hemianthus callitrichoides)

Oh trust me there is a limit to atmosperic CO2 and supplementing it makes a big difference :grinyes: But to the matter at hand, grow 'em in a sandy soil mix in shallow trays that you keep constantly damp and you can produce square footage so fast you'll practically hear them growing. And if you lay a piece of screening on top of the soil and grow the plants down through it you can transplant whole areas easily.

^^ Good tip on the screening! I'm going to try that next time i do an emmersed starter.

I meant compared to supplementing through the water column, especially if fish are involved.

It would make sense though that you would have to do a good job transitioning them to submerged conditions.
