get more females asap. from experience they will mate her or harass her to death once they get going. I have mine separated as they mate like mad and in 1 month I went from twenty guppy to over 100 !! your going top need a bigger tank :lmao:

Very, very pretty guppies. I especially like that female. I haven't seen a male like that really colorful one around here, it's pretty nice! Have you started calling around to your LFSs to see if they'll exchange your guppies for in-store credit or the like? IME, most locally-owned stores will, but chains won't.

no I have not even thought of it but I will look into it. I don't think I will keep that many fry though, I have the tetras in the tank that should clean up the unwanted ones. One question, when I do get fry should I put them into a breeding net or cage?

As a last resort you can. It's stressful and slows growth, unfortunately. The best option is to add plants (java moss and guppy grass (go figure!)) are both great for fry to hide in.
Also, fake plants work just as well. There are fry hide-out plants specifically designed for this purpose.

oooh I will have to look at those fake fry hideouts. I do have one plant that I can see them hiding out in so I figure I will see how the first batch go from there and if need be I will get a breeder net/cage but I might get one of those hideouts instead if I can find one in the lfs around here

I'd try to get the hideouts if you can. I think they're cheaper anyway. :) The one I'm familiar with can be floated or anchored with some gravel depending on your preference.

I had anachris and the babies had somewhere to hide and the stupid ones got eaten and the smart ones grew up!
