Hi, I have some saltwater guppies and I want to get some Dwarf Seahorses to go with them, the current tank is 2 gallon but I can (and prob. will) get a bigger one (10 gallons??). The guppies are currently about 3/4 inch long and the water specifics are :
sg=1/019 aprox
temp=75 degrees F.

if you want any other info just let me know!!! thanks

Sea horses do best in a species only setup, and need frequent feedings. I wouldn't put them in a small tank, either, based on the potential for salinity fluctuations-- a 30 would be the minimum. If you do choose to get some, make sure you get captive bred ponies--much hardier, and easier to feed. They will need full strength seawater--~1.025, and do best in a tank with lots of live rock to encourage copopod reproduction to provide food. The ponies may also eat any guppy fry.

I'm not sure but, I didn't think that was still legal to import them from the wild. I know a lot of species have been added to the cites list.
