There is argument that endlers are guppies, but simply a specific locality. Is that enough to distinguish them? In some eyes yes, but for practical purposes they are type strain of guppy with colors and patterns that are identifiable to some degree. Unless you have a source of endlers that are line traced to the collector and have no crosses with lines not traced to those collectors it is likely most endlers or guppies for that matter have some percentage mixed between the two. That sort of going on is a big source of why there are so many color variations in the guppies today.
