Oh no. My "endlers" (born from a fancy guppy) are both boys, swimming at their leisure among many female fancy guppies. Oops. But I raised them since they were small fry so I didn't want to cull them.
So, can an endler female give birth to fry that grow into fancy guppies? I know from experience it works the other way, so I imagine that one can.
Well, my no longer pure endler genome fish will not be allowed out into the general fish population of the world, so they won't be corrupting the endler line. Just in my tank.
