I have 1 female fancy guppy, 1 female (not fancy guppy, I dont think because it dont have no fancy type tail) guppy, and 1 male fancy guppy. My question is can you still breed the unfancy guppy with the fancy male guppy? If that makes any since :newbie:

a guppy is a guppy, yes you can breed them

The not so fancy guppy can be bred to a fancy male but the real question is what to do with the outcome. If you are looking to sell or trade the young, you will need a willing buyer. That can be much harder to find for generic crossbreeds between fancy guppies and others. If your objective is to fill an aquarium with minimal cost, the crosses may give you some interesting young. The problem is that the next generation will not breed true and you won't know what to expect in terms of fins, colors, etc.
