I'm wondering what's wrong with my guppy. It seems to be something coming out of her butt. It's not babies. It's pinkings-orangish and it's coming out of her. She's usually a fat girl, but this past month, I've noticed she's not as a fat as she usually is. I've only spotted the problem this morning.

She's still alive. After I took a picture, she looked bad for 20 seconds, till she saw food. Then she went all hyper.
What is this? Attached is a picture.

I am guessing internal parasites. There are all different kinds though, so I don't know what kind of treatment to suggest. I have gotten several fish with internal parasites, and Jungle Parasite Food seems to work for most of them. But your poor little fish might need more aggressive treatment.

I've narrowed it down to either a tumor or a parasite (Camallanus, most likely). I'm gonna try to get some internal parasites treatment thing tomorrow since all the stores are closed.

I seperated her in a small 2.5QT which housed my betta.

It doesn't look like Camallanus to me. I hope others with more experience with that worm will check in on this, but it looks more like intestinal prolapse to me.

I saw a guppy with intestinal prolapse, though more pronounced than your guppy. If this is prolapse, the protrusion is not bad yet and there is a good chance that it can recede.

I would fast him for a few days and see if the bowel retracts. Then I would feed him some nuked, skinned, english pea - mushed and mixed with garlic juice to help move any hard fecal matter along and clean him out.

He may very well have intestinal parasites, so once he is better you might want to treat him for that.

Here's a picture of prolapse that is pretty advanced, and then a couple of pictures of the Callamanus worm.

Callamanus... Camallanus.... which is it? I thought it was Camallanus but spelled it both ways in my previous post.
I'm checking the spelling again.... When I google it I find it listed both ways.

Here it is, posted by Lupin:

Camallanus cotti and Camallanus lacustris

Sorry for going off on the spelling, but I like to be corrected when I get it wrong.
