Guppy- Butt Problem. What is it?

I would try the english pea remedy, just in case she's having trouble moving things along. Hope she will be ok. Keep us posted.

I had a couple platy that would do that after giving birth. Most would go back in but I did lose one or two from the prolapse. Clean water and peas will help.

An update:
She's in the 2.5 and she hasn't shown signs of the "prolapse/parasite". Her belly is getting big though. I'm guessing she's pregnant again. That's a good sign!

Wow, that's great! I never heard of fish prolapse until the last few years & never with the good outcome you've had. Continued good luck.

Thanks! It's only been a couple days though, but she's looking better and better.

I had a betta that did the same thing, but it went away after about a day.
