I have a female guppy the is dropping fry right at this moment :p , anyways, she is going to the bottom of the tank and doing at twitching thing against the rocks.....then going back up to near the heater and popping a fry out. Is this normal behaviour? This is the first time that I seen one of my fish have fry. Its sooooooooooo exciting. :dance :dance

OOOooooo! Yay! My female guppie is HUGE and I am so excited too! She keeps going into one corner of the tank and sort of belly rubbing a bit then swimming around again so I will be staring at her all day as it seems like the time is near! How many babies did you get??

On a similar note, is it ok to put the guppie fry into a seperate tank where I already have about 20 10day old molly fry? I was planning on popping the female guppy in there over the next couple of days to have her sprogs but I wasn't sure if the molly fry would be safe??

I loved watching her drop her fry, she sometimes popped out 5 in a row.....it was really neat. I counted about 42 fry

I put my guppy with 23 3 week old fry and she did not seem to care....too busy I think. I dont know about 10 day old fry, they are still pretty young, My advice is to let her have her fry where she is and then scoop the fry out into the other tank with the molly fry. That way she is still in her environment and not too stressed as well. (not that I am an expert!)

Good Luck!!
