I've found some whitish thing in my outside tank that looks like eggs but I'm not sure. I have wild guppies and snails in the tank. Some of the guppies have very dark gravid spot and with swollen bellies but I'm new to keeping guppies and never seen guppy eggs before. Could those be guppy eggs or are they snail eggs? or something else?

If its guppy eggs, great. If its snail eggs, I'll get rid of them before they hatch as I already have a rapidly increasing snail population.

Sorry folks. I just remembered guppies are livebearers! So whatever it is, its certainly not guppy eggs! :wall:I'll go get rid of them.

By the way, do wild guppies eat snails? Tiny baby snails? If so, I'll just leave them to make food for the guppies.

Guppies probably wouldn't eat any significant amount of snail babies. If you want less snails I would try to remove them by hand.

Wow. That was quick guys. Thanks.
