Guppy Fry :)

I came home from school today and looked in my tank and their were about 30-50 fry (haven't counted yet) swimming along the top. Bright Orange and clear tails, looked kind of alienish to me. So I've scooped all of them out (they are fast) and put them in my 10 gallon tank until they grow big enough. I was quite excited but the babies came from the really skinny female which suprised me. I have 2 other females that are 3-4x as fat as she is and they still havent birthed yet.I'm not sure which male was behind the birthing, but i'll find out in a few weeks when the guppies get bigger.

Haha sorry i'm just excited and my other female "Big Birtha" is looks like she can't get any fatter or she'll explode and her gravid spot is black as ever. She too might birth soon.

Congratulations! Guppies were the first fish I bred, over 30 years ago! I'm thinking of going full circle and setting up some new guppy tanks myself - enjoy!

It seems like they just keep coming. I keep finding more and more. I don't believe the other females are giving birth yet so i guess they just just good hiders. I was carefully skimming my tank with my eyes and i see a tiny one inbetween the gravel and the glass swimming around atleast .5" under the substrate.
