They can't breed and have different temp requirements. You could try futilely, but while you do one group of fish will not be in preferred conditions.

You'd be better off trying to selectively breed the mosquitos into more of a fancy fish or try and slowly begin to adjust a population of guppies to colder temperatures. Either way your looking at generations of fish and years of work but it could be done.
it is not gnetically liable in my oppinion any other way to do this would be creul to fsh
