guppy question....

want to do cichlids but...feeding my guppies to them would be hard.

I thought u shouldn't feed ur fish everyday?

I feed my fish 3 times a day; I want to eat 3 times a day, hard for me to imagine my fish would not want to.

I would think that feeding my fish once a day would result in lower birth rates and slower growth. However, I am careful not to over feed. Over feedings results in steep gains in nitrates and polluted water.

what constitutes overfeeding them if ur feeding 3x a day? I was always told to only feed every 2-3 days. except with a saltwater tank.
