I have a few pregnant female (redundant, i know) guppies, im trying to establish a food source for the African Butterfly im going to get (tomorrow hopefully). At any rate one of the more pregnant guppies seems to like to school with the group of neons i have in the tank, she follows them around and everything. I know when guppies are about to birth they hide out on the bottom, and look for areas. Im worried that the neons will devour the guppy fry as they are being born. I dont want to go through the problem of buying and using one of those fry boxes.
I actually like the neons more anyways, the guppies were more of an experiment, i wanted to see how well the Butterfly would manage "population control"
anything i should worry about (or anything i can do), or should i just let it take its course?
