had to stop the madness!

I recently purchased 2 female and 1 male platy for my son's tank, in HOPES of fry!! I love livebearers!! Though I do understand why some don't... I once had a pair of female guppies who probably had over 300 fry in the short time (6 months or so!!) they were in my tank (and when they went to my uncle's along with their mates, they continued to have tons of fry!!)

Happychem, ordinarily I would love to take him but alas I have no tank room at the moment. My platies are only ion a heavily planted 5 gallon (The male and three juvinile females) so I can't really cram anything else into that tank and my other big tank is a coldwater tank.

I have had my swords for two years now and I love them! Their antics are hilarious and they are pretty They are in a tank with many other kinds of fish and the babies act as feeders. I once bought feeders for my morgurnda goby and they were diseased. This made me lose a beautiful swordtail, a five inch female. She was huge! No more feeders from the store!

I had neons for awhile. Had a school of twelve of them for a while.

But they were so freaking boring! I was actually, kinda happy when I got an outbreak of NTD.

Goodbye neons!! Hello Corys!!

I'm much happier with the Corys.

i bought a school of 5 neons about 3 weeks ago and they were all dead within 3 days along with a flying fox i bought as well. My tank is all tetras . Ive had great success with them except neons and cardinals. I have 5 glowlights which are the same size as neons but much more hardy.try them

ive never quaranteen fish in the 20+ years ive been in this hobby. Ive lost very few fish and usually have to give them away when i want to change my tanks to something else.
